One of my favorite things to write on here are my monthly goals posts. I love the idea of starting fresh with new goals (or some carried over) and a new mindset each month. 2015 is a year of many changes for me, and I am still eager to make those changes step by step, day by day, and month by month. I am working on getting to a positive and happy place in life, and I am trying to set small goals that will get me there. So, here are my goals for March!
+// Weight Loss. Ahhh…my favorite topic. I have been slacking all of 2015 on this goal. I have good reason, I’ve had a lot going on lately. I can say that I haven’t been putting on any weight, but the weight that I want to lose is still there. So this month, I’m getting back to it!! I also plan to start putting updates here on the blog. For two reasons, to hold myself accountable, and to hopefully motivate some people out there that need that little push to get started on their own journeys! So my plan this month is to get back to eating healthy and being way more active than I have been. I’m also going to cut out soda and sweets! =[ This is an easy things for me to do, I’ve just been letting myself get away with having more of these things lately than I should. So for now, I’m just cutting myself off completely. I’m really excited to get back to seriously working on my weight loss again, summer will be here before you know it!
+// Try New Things. This is a pretty broad goal. I want to apply it to many aspects of my life. I’m just at a point right now where, I just want to LIVE. I’m a hardcore introvert, who is happy to sit at home all day long, however, it upsets me when I feel like I’m not living my life and experiencing things. So I want to try new things, make memories, and just start living.
+// Set Plans and Goals for the near future. Lots to do, lots to do. I have so much to do, and so much to figure out. My head is literally spinning on a daily basis. So I just want to keep planning, setting goals, and making decisions about my future. Its scary and stressful, but a little exciting at the same time.
+// Read More. One of my few goals for the year has been to read more. So far I think I am off to a good start, however, I still feel like I could be making more time for it. Which is what I want to do this month. Last month I made the goal to read 4 books, and I read 2. So this month, I’m going to go for 4 books again, I think its totally possible if I just set aside the time. It’s important to make time for the things you love, and I love to read. I miss the days where I got lost in the pages of a book for hours on end. I want that again.
+// Stay Focused in School. One of the many things I have going on right now is finishing up school. I’m so close, and yet I still feel like I have so much to do. So I need to stay focused and get through it. I just want to make sure that I am taking each class day by day. I’m so eager to finish, I get anxious, and then I start to lose focus on the present. I just need to stay on top of it, plan ahead, and manage my time. Also, making time for things I enjoy is important, I don’t want to burn myself out.
