I have been wanting to try Maybelline’s Fit Me foundation for awhile now, I’ve heard really great things around the blogosphere and on YouTube. Then the other day, I saw a commercial for the Fit Me Matte+ Poreless Foundation, which is formulated for different skin types. I personally have combination skin, around my T-zone I am very dry, unless I use a great moisturizer before applying foundation, and everywhere else, I get really oily. So I am constantly looking for foundations that will work well with a moisturizer, and still keep my skin from being oily.
So I was in Wal-Mart the other day, and I decided to try out this foundation for normal to oily skin, with a medium coverage. For the most part I tend to gravitate towards full coverage foundations because I have been blessed with adult acne, which results in dark spots. So I love for my foundation to cover these blemishes without having to go too heavy on concealer. Even though it said medium coverage I decided to give it a try since I’ve heard so many great things. I got mine in the color 310 or Sun Beige, it’s a perfect match, go me! (I am always hesitant when picking out drugstore foundations, because I am fearful of matching the colors to my skin wrong.)
So, I’ve used this foundation quite a few times since I purchased it, and off the bat I can say that I will definitely be purchasing it again! It is a really smooth and lightweight formula, and it has a better coverage than some of my full coverage foundations, which is a really big plus for me! As for the oily skin, it definitely has improved how oily I can get, but it doesn’t prevent it completely. The amount of oil I do get, however, is manageable, and with a few dabs of powder, I’m all set and like new.
Here is a finished makeup look with the foundation! It’s a really nice foundation to use, it smells good, feels good, and is easy to apply! It blends so well into my skin, and sets really quickly! So far, for me, it’s been a really great every day foundation. If you’ve given this foundation a try before let me know what you thought in the comments below! And share any of your favorite foundation choices, I’m always looking for new ones to try. xoxo
