My Evolution as a Blogger

As I get closer to the year mark of starting this blog, I have come to realize that blogging is one of those things that constantly teaches me new things. I feel as though no matter how long I have been doing this, there are still so many things that I want to learn or try. It’s such a fun thing to take on because you are constantly growing and learning new things. I feel like blogging can be such a personal reflection of the writer, and since we grow and change every day, so does the content we write, as well as our creative processes.

In the past (almost) year, I feel that I personally have grown so much as a blogger. But, at the same time I still feel like I have so much to improve. Which is probably a good thing. In order to find success, there should never be a point of being content with where you are or how you are doing, the key is to always find ways to improve and make yourself better at whatever it is you are trying to succeed at.

The blogger I was back in January and the blogger I am now can definitely be defined as an evolution. Throughout this time I have taken in so much information about blogging, and I still have a huge list of things I still want to try. But I am so proud of myself that I have stuck to this blogging thing, and have improved so much. It has been so much more work than I could have ever imagined going in, but it has also been so much more fun than I expected. I’m so happy to have found something that I truly enjoy doing, and I hope to continue to grow in the future.

I have a lot of hopes and dreams when it comes to this blog, and I hope to make some of them a reality in this next year. I want this blog to not only be something I can look back on in future years but something that inspires others that come across this little space on the internet. I’m so thankful for the people who have come on here to read my posts, especially those of you who continue to come back. I definitely feel like I have learned a lot so far, and I am just so eager to learn more about thisΒ journey I am on.

I love getting lost in the posts of some of my favorite bloggers, I gain so much inspiration and knowledge. I hope to do this for a long time as it has become something that I have truly enjoyed doing, and I have become a part of an amazing community of people who love doing the same thing. Blogging has become an outlet for me, in some of my hardest times, and a place to be creative and share my life with others. I definitely believe that I have evolved as a blogger since that awkward first post, and now I am just eager to keep evolving and making something I can be proud of.

What do you love about blogging, and how have you evolved as a blogger since you started? Tell me something you hope to accomplish in the future! xoxo

  • I can relate to this post so much! I started blogging this year and the original goals I had as a blogger have radically changed and evolved into something I would have never guessed would have happened when I first started. I love seeing bloggers grow and evolve too, and I definitely can’t wait to read more of your blog!

    • Thank you Rebecca! I totally understand what you mean! I think we all go into blogging expecting one thing, and then we learn so many new things, and our views change! It’s pretty great.

  • I love blogging because it is like a time capsule. It is so interesting for me to look back at the past two years and not only see how I have grown as a writer but also how my thoughts and feelings have evolved. So far I have loved blogging because there is always room to improve (like you said).

    • So true! I love going back and looking at older posts, even posts from a few months ago make me smile because I can see such a change in my style of writing, and like you said, thoughts and feelings! Its really exciting and makes me eager to see how I will continue to change.

  • I really like blogging, it is a yearbook for my life since I’ve started. I can see how I have grown since I started, I can see the moments of feeling a bit burnt out with blogging. It is neat to see how much I have grown since starting as well as all the people I have meet on the way. I am coming up on my one year anniversary of my current blog, and there is so much more I am looking forward to trying. πŸ™‚

    • That’s awesome Felecia! It really is great to have something like this to look back on, to be able to see how you have grown as a person!
