I can’t believe its already August. It kind of feels like July just flew by! I spent the month with family, relaxing, and really enjoying my free time before going back to work again. It was pretty great. I was also able to work on my goals that I set for last month which you can check out HERE. Of course some of the goals will continue on into the years, Self Improvement and Being Happy, are goals that I will work on for a long time! But I wanted to give myself a new set of goals to focus on this month as well! Here they are:
+// Diet and Weight Loss. This will probably always be on my monthly goals. I am doing really well with healthy eating, and going to the gym. However, I’m at a point right now, where I have the most stubborn area around my mid section (my belly) that just doesn’t seem to want to go away. So I want to really buckle down this month, and figure out a plan that can help me target my problem areas as well as start trying to get into toning up the rest of my body as well. So I am thinking a stricter diet and a more routine workout schedule. I really want to get back into doing Blogilates!
+// Reach for my Goals and Resolutions. So the other day I was looking over the section in my Erin Condren planner where I keep my long term goals, and New Years Resolutions and I realized that I need to seriously get cracking on some of these goals! The year is more than half way over, and some of them have been completely over looked. So I want to really try to focus on that this month, even if it just means making a plan to start working on these things, or just focusing on a few this month. We’ll see!
+// Start getting my Finances in Order. I have a lot of goals and dreams, and a lot of them have to either do with finances or won’t be possible without having them in order. So I want to continue to try to save money, and now that I am working again I want to create a budget and really stick to it.
+// Get out there more. Now that we have been living in a new city for a month now, I really want to find ways to start getting out there and meeting new people. I have noticed that it isn’t really easy for me to make new friends, and I told myself that this move would be different. I am thinking about signing up for classes, maybe taking up a new hobby, getting involved in my church, and just being as sociable as possible on a daily basis.
+// Focus on ME. A lot of things are happening in my life, and I have a lot of hopes and dreams for myself. Dreams that I really want to turn into reality. So this month I want to focus on getting myself closer to those things. I think they are all possible and it will just take some hard work and dedication to make them happen!
