So this past week was pretty eventful. I wrote a previous post telling you guys how tough things were last week. Well, things still aren’t perfect, but they are starting to look up. And one of the reasons for that is, we are moving!!

We're Moving

This is a move that we have been considering for, like, ever. So I am super excited that we have finally decided to go for it. My in-laws were in town this weekend and it was so wonderful to see them. We are planning to move to where they are located, so it was great to talk to them about the move, which they have graciously offered to help us with.

We don’t have a set date for the move, we still have quite a few things to settle before hand, but hopefully we will have an idea of when very soon. Until then, I am just going to sit here and be excited about the future! It is fun to start thinking about all of the big plans that we will have to make once we pick a date and get closer to it. I can’t wait!

As a military brat, I LOVE moving! In the (almost) four years that we have lived in Arizona I have been in 5 different apartments! Yes, 5. I enjoy starting fresh in a new place, but this time around it wont just be a new home, but a new city, which is even more exciting!

What I am looking forward to the most about this move is the fresh start that we will get by going to a completely different city. It will be a fun new adventure for us as a newlywed couple. Also, we will be near family, which as you may know from my Happily Ever AfterΒ post, is something I really want.

Hopefully I will have more details soon, which I will definitely be sharing here. I am super excited about moving, if I haven’t made that clear yet! I honestly cannot wait to get started! =]

  • How exciting! I hope the move goes great for you.

    • Thank you Jenna!
I am really excited, I can’t wait to have a date so I can start counting down! =]

  • Good luck! I personally loathe moving, but my parents still live in the same house I grew up in, and have for the past 35 years.

My husband and I lived in AZ for a few years–I loved it. I would move back in a heartbeat even though I loathe moving! Especially right now–we live in Michigan currently and I am SO DONE with winter!

    • haha! Thank you!
yes the weather here is pretty amazing right now, I’ve already been tanning! =] It’s funny how a love/hate for moving can be affected so much by your childhood! I might be a rare breed though, my husband is also a military brat, and he isn’t big on moving either.

  • good luck with everything!! xo

  • We are moving too! I am so excited for you. It is so nice that you have family at your next location. I am so happy for you!

    • Where are you headed?? Yes, I am so grateful to be moving closer to family! We have been pretty lonely here in Arizona, so it is going to be a nice change!

      • We will be moving from Michigan to Connecticut. We don’t have any family in the area, but we have a few friends that are already stationed there. We are excited to start the next chapter of our lives.

        • That’s awesome! It really is a new chapter, I think that is what makes it so exciting! And that’s great that you have some friends there as well. Is your husband military? The transition should definitely be smoother if you at least know a few people! It won’t be as scary! haha

  • How exciting! We just moved last July. We’re not in the military, I just think we were gypsies in a past life!

    • haha! That’s awesome! Have you moved a lot?

      • I would say 19 times my whole life? Is that a lot for a non military family?!?!? I’m thinkin’ it is and I have a grimace on my face to match the number! :-/

        • Yes that is a lot!! But I think that is awesome! Were any of them out of the country??

  • No. All here in the US between NY and Texas only. SO not that exotic!!!

  • There is something so refreshing about a move; it clears out alot of energetic cobwebs as well as physical ones! ENJOy!

    • Very true! I am looking forward to it!
      Thank you! =]
