I didn’t post much this weekend, except yesterday’s Sunday Social, so I wanted to come on here and talk about what I was up to the past few days. Cause it is totally interesting…(insert cricket sounds)…
Thursday//. So lets start off with Thursday, it was my day off, so I relaxed all day, naturally. I did my nails, filmed a few youtube videos, and I’m pretty sure I watched Frozen…again. And then that night I went out with a few friends for a few Thursday night shenanigans. I was having too much fun to capture all of the pictures that I wanted to. So I just have this one. Which is only of two of us, the rest of the group (4 more people) were squished in the back of the car, I know total blogging fail. Apparently someone tried to get in the picture with us, but only managed a peace sign.
That was a fun night, and much needed. We danced, we drank, and we laughed into the wee hours of the morning. I feel like most days I am either at work or at home, so any chance to get away from that is nice.
Friday//. Back to work. The most exciting thing that happened to me on Friday was finally being able to watch the newest episode of Scandal. The shenanigans from the night before caused me to stop watching it half way through, which, I have to admit was pretty hard to do. And man, last week’s episode was ahh-mazing. Seriously, the highlight of my day. If you don’t watch Scandal, please get it together.
Saturday//. Another wonderful day full of retail. I worked the majority of the day, and the U of A Wildcats lost their Elite Eight game (sad face), so as a pick me up I decided that I wanted to treat myself to something that I hadn’t had in the LONGEST time. On The Border. One of my favorite restaurants. Which probably isn’t something to brag about. So with little convincing necessary, Hubby took me there after the game.
Here is Andre munching on their chips and salsa, which are like the best I’ve ever had. Normally we get full off of these before our main dish even comes out!
Can you tell how excited I am to dig in? I always get the Enchiladas Suizas. Actually we both get the same thing every time. We are legit regulars there. There are servers at On The Border that know our order by heart. And I am super proud of that.
Mmmmmm. Doesn’t that just look delicious? I’m getting hungry as I am writing this post! Oh, and when we got home, we caught up on How I Met Your Mother, and I convinced Andre to get ice cream! So I topped off the night with a delicious ice cream sandwich. The perfect day.
Sunday//. Another hard working day this Sunday. I was exhausted by the time I made it home. Nothing spectacular happened. Andre went to phoenix for a concert, so I hung out around the apartment repainting my nails, catching up on the Big Bang Theory and YouTube, and of course reading every blog I possible could. The best part of my day was yet another treat, chipotle. I don’t eat it as often as I used to, and seriously, it was the best thing I ate all day.
And yes, I totally took a picture of it already half eaten, I got so excited to dig in that I forgot to snap a picture before hand. =[ Next time.
I don’t know if I am ashamed to say this but I think food kind of took over my entire weekend. I got to eat some good stuff the past couple of days. And now that I think about it, no, I’m not ashamed.
How was your weekend? What were your highlights?
